The Ash High-Back Linen Armchair is upholstered in dark grey linen, with the wooden legs left bare beneath it. It belongs in the corner of a lounge where somebody actually sits up to read, or in a spare bedroom that needs a real seat rather than somewhere to drop the laundry.
"High-back" in the name is measured from the floor, not from the seat. Above the seat the back rises 31cm, which covers your lower and mid back and then stops, with nothing behind your shoulders or your head. It is a chair to sit up in with a book, not one to fall asleep in.
