Most front rooms have a chair somebody has quietly stopped using, because getting out of it takes two goes. The Windsor Linen Armchair is the one that replaces it — light grey, tufted across the back, on wooden legs. Each of those dimples is also a small dish: crumbs a flat back would shed stay put in them, and a vacuum nozzle is what gets them out.

The seat measures 50cm from the floor, enough to keep most adults' hips level with or above their knees when they sit right back. Hips above knees is the arrangement that lets somebody stand in one movement — lean forward, weight through the feet, up — instead of shuffling to the front edge first and trying again from there.

It does not recline, and the same height leaves shorter legs perched rather than seated. The Lina Armchair - Light Grey is the low one in the same grey.
