The Dream Flip Dual Sided Memory Foam Mattress Topper in King Single is 107cm x 203cm, 7.1kg, cut to a NZ King Single — 17cm wider and 13cm longer than a Single. Made for a teenager who will tell you the bed is wrong but not which way it is wrong.
It is 8cm thick, built as two bonded 4cm layers: gel-infused memory foam at 40kg/m³ on one face, a firmer support foam on the other. Turn it over and the bed changes — you are not picking a firmness at checkout, you get both and decide over a few nights.
Density is not firmness, whatever most listings imply — it tells you how much foam is in the block, which decides how long before it dishes out under you. On this topper the firmer face is the lower-density foam of the two. And firmness is not something you can look up about yourself either: the same surface feels softer to a heavier sleeper, who compresses it further, and firmer to a lighter one, while side sleeping drives your weight through two narrow points, shoulder and hip, where sleeping on your back spreads it the whole length of you. Two people can be handed the same mattress and only one of them is right about it. The cover is bamboo fabric and unzips on three sides, so it washes separately from the foam. A cool wash removes most dust-mite allergen; killing the mites takes 55°C, which most home machines will not reach. Non-slip base so it does not travel overnight. It will not fix a mattress that sags: a dip in the middle comes through either way up.
If this is not the right one: if you already know you want soft, the Comfort Plush Gel is 8cm of gel foam the whole way through — no firm face, and the heavier build. If your bed is only slightly firmer than you would like, the 5cm Gel Memory Foam Topper is the lighter, thinner answer. This is the one to take when you are not sure.
