This chair is not the same width at the floor as it is at your elbow. The Millo Velvet Armchair - Dark Blue is a tub — back and arms cut as one shell, dark blue velvet drawn in at every button — and it gets bought for the stretch of lounge wall that a two-seater was never going to fit.
Its narrowest line is the top edge of the back, at 51cm, so a gap tighter than that is a no straight away. Wider is not yet a yes: the shell keeps spreading on the way down into the arms. Measure at elbow height, and take the full width off the specification table. What this chair catches on is the end of a bookcase, a windowsill, a bedside table.
