There is nowhere on this chair to put an elbow. The Nook Boucle Armchair - White is white bouclé, the sides of its back curving forward at the top, on thin black metal legs — and where an armrest would be, the shell has already dropped away to the seat. It is a chair for a landing, or a hallway that ends at a window.
The cushion that comes with it stands 21cm high, and that is most of the back it leans against: a hand's width of bare bouclé above it, then the top edge, then nothing. So the usual repair is not on offer here. A loose cushion has to lean on something, and there is nothing up there to hold a second one — anything you add slides down to join the first.
