Its stool is wider than it is deep, so it takes both feet side by side rather than one leg stretched along it.
It stands 34cm high while the chair seats you at 45.5cm, so your feet finish just under the level of your knees, and the span between the chair's front edge and the stool carries nothing at all. Your feet leave the floor; your legs are still holding themselves up. It is not the flat, level position people picture when a chair and an ottoman are photographed together.
