My daughter liked the desk, but there were a couple of dents/scratches in the wood, but my daughter was in such a hurry to put up, she didn't want to return it! Instructions were a little difficult to follow, but looks nice now it is up. Thanks

You get what you pay for

Desk arrived with chipping in places and the holes in the legs did not match or measure up. Seems like the person who put the legs together before packaging needed to rotate a metal support bar one more rotation in order to screw draw shelf on. Hoping my partner can drill holes to align for screws on top. I’m not sending this back out of my own pocket. Surely quality control could do their job and make sure stock isn’t damaged/faulty or assembled wrong in the first place. Lesson here listen to the poor reviews and opt for paying extra elsewhere. This desk to me is worth $70. Just crap. This was a Christmas present too. Either stick with Kmart or the warehouse.

Great deal and great desk

I ordered this as a Xmas present for my daughter and so it wasn’t opened straight away hence some hesitation opening it and starting to put it together after Boxing Day. I have built a few things over the years and found this quite an easy build if you do things like check all the bits and pieces are present and accounted for (which they, even with spares). If I was to say anything, perhaps the handle on the supplied screwdriver could be a bit smoother but apart from that my daughter absolutely loves it.
