The Wilson Manual Recliner Chair in Grey is a broad grey chair on a metal base, nearly as wide down at the carpet as it is across the back. It takes the television spot in a living room and it takes it permanently: nothing draws in at the bottom, so the floor it needs is the floor it looks like it needs.
People pick a recliner lying back in it, then live with it sitting up. When the footrest drops and you come upright, you are sitting 48cm off the floor — not the number that makes the chair comfortable, but the one that decides whether you get out of it unaided.
